Mt. Bachelor is open for skiing and snowboarding!

While the snow pack is still pretty light with a base of 14″ and 28″ mid-mountain, Mt. Bachelor will have Pine Martin, Skyliner, Red Chair, and Sunshine Accelerator lifts open on Saturday, November 26.

Lift ticket prices are reduced to $69 from $92 for an all-day adult ticket.

The new Cloudchaser Lift is expected to open in mid to late December. The new lift is located just south of  Rainbow Chair and offers a number of intermediate trails on beautiful terrain.

Check the website for weather updates. The forecast is calling for 1 – 3″ of new snow possible and moderate wind. Sunday looks better with light winds and a 30% chance of snow showers.

The snow tubing area is open for walk-up tubing, and tickets are available inside the Mountain Gateway building.

The Nordic Center is open for classic and skate skiing on their beautifully groomed trails.

Rentals and Lessons are available at the Nordic Center for both skate skiing and classic skiing.

Even if you are not ready to “ride the snow”, take a drive up to the mountain to see the new digs. West Village Lodge has a new deck and the “stairs leading to nowhere” are gone!
