Mt. Bachelor Season Pass sales

Mt. Bachelor looks pretty bare these days, but the snow is sure to start flying soon!

I have never (in 15 years of living in Bend) seen Mt. Bachelor with no snow – ok, there’s a few tiny spots up there. However, I have faith we will have a good ski/snowboard year…pray for snow! This picture was taken from the top of Tumalo Mountain in early October.

Mt. Bachelor will have their season passes on sale at the Old Mill in November.

According to information on the Mt. Bachelor website, “As a result of a January 2015 Oregon Supreme Court decision, Mt. Bachelor is introducing a new “Express Assumption of Risks” agreement that all pass holders must read and approve with an online signature. This new language will appear on the back of all 2015-2016 season pass ID cards and we ask that all pass holders read it carefully. Consequently, Mt. Bachelor is requiring all Full Season, Midweek, 12 Day and 4-Pack Pass purchasers to get a new pass ID card this season.

Just because you’re getting a brand new pass ID card this year doesn’t automatically mean that you need a new picture, however. If you like your current pass picture and if it’s not more than a couple years old, then we can use the same photo.

To save you time, we’re introducing the option this year to have your pass pre-printed and ready for pick-up at Will Call. You can take advantage of this convenient opportunity if:

You are OK with having your last pass picture on this year’s pass
You purchase your pass through the online e-Store.
You will be presented with this pass pre-print option during the online sales process.

We are working to set up several opportunities for you to pick up your pass and/or get a new picture if needed. As of now, here are the dates and locations (subject to change):

November 10-20 – Old Mill District in Bend – in the former Orvis location on the north end (320 SW Powerhouse Drive, Suite 110) – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily
Once Mt. Bachelor opens for the ski season – West Village Mountain Gateway Sales Center.”

Let it snow!!!
