Next Level Burger offers 100% “plant-based” burgers along with sandwiches, salads, soups, and a kid’s menu. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had the sun-dried tomato basil burger yesterday along with sautéed kale. Both were great! Their kid’s menu looks promising for my somewhat picky kids…might have to take them soon. To view their full menu, go to nextlevelburger.com
Chicken Bonz is another new restaurant on Century Drive. I haven’t been there yet. They have chicken, burgers, salads, a variety of dipping sauces for the chicken pieces, and picnic take-out specials. Go to chickenbonz.com for their menu.
Footzone has “noon runs” on Wednesdays…meet at Footzone downtown at 12 noon. Runs are 3-5 miles with different pace groups. Runs are 3-4.5 miles with different pace groups. Both runs are free.
How about “Laughter Yoga”? That sounds pretty fun! A half hour of simple movements that facilitate laughter and childlike playfulness during your lunch hour. Fun, energizing, and healing. Every Tuesday from 12:30-1:00 at the Center for Compassionate Living – 339 SW Century Drive, suite 203. Donation basis.
