May 24, 2015 (Sun)

It’s a gorgeous day here in Bend! Sunny skies with highs expected in the low 70’s. With all the visitors in Bend this weekend, I would expect them to be outside today on bikes, walking the trails, playing golf, and visiting our beautiful lakes and rivers. Downtown and the Old Mill District will be packed with tourists, too. Please remember not to feed the geese or ducks. This is against the law and also promotes “poo-lution” in our beautiful parks.

Beer Week continues with events at Worthy Brewing and Broken Top Bottle Shop. Go to for more info.

The Saturday (Sunday) Market continues today downtown – across the street from the public library. Crafts, food, and music from local vendors.

The Sisters Stampede Mountain Bike race is today on the Peterson Ridge trail system in Sisters. Good luck to all the racers! It’s a fun race.

Live acoustic music on the patio at Chow this morning 10-1. Chow is located on Newport Avenue, just east of Newport Market.

We’re headed out on kayaks today in the Old Mill District with a picnic lunch.

Whatever you do today, have fun and make it a good one!
