Family fishing trips

Central Oregon Fishing

Family Fun Fishing!!!

We love getting the next generation involved in Fly Fishing! Believe it or not, kids love to get out and catch lots of fish on a fly rod. Don’t worry Moms, it’s not that tough. We’ve been doing it every day in the summer for nearly a decade now.

With Guided Family Trips starting at just $275, you can afford to be on the water with your youngsters catching fish with one of our professional guides. No more, “Dad, how come we never catch any fish?” questions to answer.

Have your family come aboard one of our child friendly boats for a high lakes trip, or we can outfit your family in some waders at the shop to hit one of our local rivers.

Half Day Trips are ideal for families. Kids get a chance to catch a lot of fish and not be out in the sun too long.

Catch and release fishing.

fishing rainbow bend

Rainbow Bend Fly Fishing Guides

Seasoned fly fishermen love the size of the Deschutes River and the size of the fish! There’s no theme park here, no little stream, no live bait/spinners, and no stocked trout! Just hard-fighting, fun-to-fish wild native rainbow trout and steelhead.

New to the sport? No problem! We’ll provide plenty of easy to understand instruction on how to cast, fly selection, presentation for the most success, how to fight a hard-fighting native fish, how to land one, and most importantly, how to release it unharmed for another day.

For experienced fishermen – this will challenge you to become the complete fisherman, as no river challenges your skills like the Deschutes, and no river in America can show you a bigger variety of insect hatches, food sources and life cycle (sometimes at the same time).
